This week I am loving that I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and birthday and now we are ready to begin celebrating Christmas!

I am loving that we have such good friends to spend time with.  We had a big time watching the ballgame at the duck club.

I am loving this pic from my cousins front yard.

I love that Thursday is the Christmas parade in town and Friday we are taking the kids to Memphis to the Pink Palace to see Santa.

I LOVE Ross Mathews, I really, really, really want to be his best friend!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Tonight we celebrated my birthday over at Nonna and Pop’s.  Nonna cooked a wonderful dinner and it was so nice to all be together.

Yes, Blake that is an ice cream and cake..ha!

E sent me a dozen roses to school…so sweet!

And look it snowed on my birthday…I don’t recall that ever happening!

Thanks to everyone who made my birthday so special!  I love you all!

March the Elf is back!

When I saw that The Elf on the Shelf was going to be on television Friday night I decided that Saturday would be the perfect time to introduce March (Sam named him last year).  I had seen these cute little breakfast ideas on pinterest, but couldn’t get to town to pick up the things I needed.  Luckily Aunt Linz was sweet enough to pick up a few things for me.  I had some old tableware from last year and I had Linz pick up the donuts, chocolate milk, and a little gift from March.  There are a few things I would have liked to add, but hey we do what we can do.

The kids were so excited when they woke up and found the table all fixed up for them.

Thanksgiving 2011

Food, Family, and Fellowship that is what I think of when I think of Thanksgiving.  I feel I have more to be thankful for this year than ever before.

We started off celebrating in Sheridan Wednesday.

BB bought the kids some costumes after Halloween to play in.  I snapped pics of a few.

This is how I found Bax when it was time to eat…poor girl was worn out!  Good times!

I love that E and I are going to try to start some shopping for the kiddos!  So fun!

I love that Arkansas is #3 and going to take on #1 LSU Friday!  I can’t wait for our watch party!

Opening Weekend

This weekend was the opening weekend of duck season, and as E puts it, “better than my birthday, Thanksgiving,  & Christmas combined.”  We had a get together at the duck club Friday night and enjoyed some good food and friends!
