Are you kidding me???

We have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. Friday morning. I guess that would be a great time for a winter storm! We are going to get a hotel room by the hospital so we will be sure to make it. I told E he better get down here early because I was not holding these babies for him:) I am sure it will all work out, it is just funny how I feel these babies want to stay in forever. I can't wait to hold them.

Update

We had our doctors visit today. My blood pressure was fine so he decided to take them Thursday. He called the hospital, but they were booked during the times he could do it so it is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Friday. I will be almost 37 weeks...I can not believe it!!! I told E if they didn't take them soon they would be able to walk back to HR. I have received so many well wishes and we greatly appreciate them.

36 Weeks

We are headed to the doctor today. E is here and Dr. B will decide today to either take them tomorrow or Thursday. We will keep you posted:)

Audra

Audra has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. This week she put this picture on Facebook and it cracks me up. I have really been able to see her a lot lately since we are staying in Sheridan. Sam loves her, he gets in his toy truck and we ask him where he is going and he says, "Audra's house".
Audra is very close to her family and they mean everything to her. Her mother has been battling cancer for the last three years. They have spent the past two Christmas' in he hospital. She is now home with hospice. Audra is so strong and I admire her so much. Everyday when I talk to her and ask about her mom she quickly turns the conversation to how I am doing. She has so many wonderful qualities that her parents instilled in her and I know they are so proud. Audra was our high school homecoming queen and is loved by so many people in our community. I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Please keep her family in your prayers.

35 Weeks

Can you believe it???
I am still carrying these precious babies, who would have thought...
E came down again Sunday and spent the night. Mrs. Donna and Jac Jac came Monday and we met them for lunch. They were dying to see Sam and they went with us to the doctor. We had an ultrasound and it estimates the babies to weigh around 6 pounds each. They look good and Dr B is very pleased. I go back next Monday and if my blood pressure is up or anything else is going on he will take them Tuesday. If not, he will take them Thursday for sure. I feel so much better just knowing when they are coming. Sam was born at 36 weeks and he weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces. I still can't believe I am about to be a mother of three.

I don't have my camera cord to download pictures here, but we have been making the best of bed rest. We are going on our 4th week in Sheridan, I can't believe I haven't been home in a month. I will have ended up using 6 of my 12 weeks off from work by the time the babies get here, but I am glad they will hopefully be healthy and ready to come home soon. Thank you for all of your prayers!

34 Weeks

Well...I am still here.
E came down to see us Sunday, which was great for Sam because he was missing him SO bad. He stayed and took me to the doctor yesterday for my check-up. I am still making it okay so Dr. B sent me back home. I am still having a lot of contractions, but not the real deal yet. He said in his experiences most twins are born between 34-35 weeks so maybe they will come this week. I am pretty uncomfortable and ready, but at the same time want them to be as healthy as they can. I feel so lucky to have made it this far.

I don't really have anything else exciting to share. I just lay on the couch getting bigger and bigger every day. My sweet cousin Shelly has been coming and getting Sam and letting him play with her boys and he has the best time. I have truly enjoyed getting to spend this time with him. My parents have been so wonderful to take care of us and I have been able to rest.

Sam has started telling us "No" which has been a little challenging, but he is also doing so good with his manners. I have worried about how his schedule and routine has changed so much, but he has done so well. I am so proud of him and I know he will make a great big brother.

I have had so many people checking on me and I truly appreciate all of you.

33 Weeks

Sam and I came to Sheridan last Wednesday so mom and dad could help round up my little guy. He is the sweetest thing ever, but so busy!!! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and it went well. The babies are doing great, my blood pressure is good and so far there are no complications. Dr. B is shocked that we have done this good, he really didn't expect me to make it this far. So he sent us home for another week. The longer they can stay inside, the bigger and healthier they will be. I just keep telling him my little body is not built to carry two big babies:) We will see what happens next Monday.
