8 Months

IMG_5789 The babies are 8 months old!IMG_5785 They are so happy and laugh and smile all the time.  They both eat three solid meals a day and take 4 bottles a day.  They take a morning nap and an afternoon nap.  They both are sitting up so well and still love to interact with each other.  Sam still calls them “Brother and Sissy” and loves to help take care of them.  They both like to steal the other one’s pacy and put it in their own mouth.  They are so fun to watch and I love every second of it!IMG_5784

IMG_5786 Sawyer is wearing size 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diapers. He has started getting up on his hands and knees.  Just the past couple of days he looks like he could crawl any second.  I absolutely LOVE his laugh and it is my favorite thing right now.IMG_5787 Baxley is wearing size 6-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.  She has been rocking on her hands and knees for about a month now.  She pulls herself all over the house.  I just knew she would crawl first, but Sawyer is really showing some promise.  She loves Sam and always wants to play with him and his toys which drives him crazy.IMG_5769 This is their first bath together.IMG_5763

I am having so much fun with my children and feel so blessed.  I thank God every night for them and for choosing me to be their mother.  I just want time to slow down a bit so I can take it all in.

Birds & Baseball

IMG_5720

Okay I absolutely LOVE my Nana, but she has always wanted to show me birds and trees and flowers and I have absolutely no interest in any of it.  I know I sound terrible, but I am just being honest.  I do however love the fact that she is so independent and never complains.  She loves family pictures, (which I do too) and I love going on vacation with her.  I love watching her with my kids because she absolutely adores them and smiles and laughs the entire time.  I have so many wonderful memories with her from my childhood.  Anyway….here are my bird pictures Nana!  I know you are loving every second of this:)  I just couldn’t help but think of her when I was snapping these pictures.

My parents have a crazy amount of hummingbirds on their deck.  They have 6 or 7 feeders and have to refill them every day.  We were there this past weekend and I snapped a few pictures.IMG_5722

IMG_5727 Daddy bought Sam a t-ball set and we got outside after the rain and let him give it his best shot.IMG_5729

Like we always say…gotta love Family Fest!

Babies, Babies, and More Babies

So many of my friends are expecting babies right now.  I have been working hard on getting gifts together and some of them turned out so cute!  I thought I would share.IMG_5187My friend Gams (Helen) who is married to Stephen (who I grew up with in Sheridan, he is like family) are expecting a baby girl Madison.  She had emailed me a pic of her bedding just to show me what she had bought.  I emailed that pic to my cousin who makes these canvas bow holders with a friend.  So they made it to match her nursery and made a few bows to go with it.IMG_5188 Then I asked Mom if I could take care of her gift too because I wanted to get her one of these adorable diaper bags.  My friend Joy (who I completely wear out with projects) makes all kinds of goodies.IMG_5190 Joy also made her this precious onesie…I  loved it so much I am having her make my babies a set.IMG_5191

IMG_5192 My friend Jamey is expecting her second baby, a little girl Ansleigh.  Jamey is not into pink so Joy and I thought this fabric would work great and I think it turned out so cute!IMG_5287

I was wearing Joy out so I had a girl in Jonesboro make these for my friend Alicia.  I put them with a changing pad set I found for her and it turned out nice.  She had a beautiful shower.

When Sam was a baby Mrs. Donna bought him a pair of these shoes with his name on them and we loved them.  I think we even got a bigger pair when he outgrew them.  I found these at the Toggery in Little Rock a lady in Wynne put Owen’s name on one and Ellison’s initials on the other.

Note- I typed this a while back, but didn’t want to post it until I had delivered the gifts.  Madison and Ansleigh are here and doing great!
