I had a long talk with Sam about Thanksgiving and being thankful.  I asked him what he was thankful for and this was his reply…that is so my Sam:)

We had a great weekend! After Thanksgiving with E’s family the kids and I headed to Sheridan for the weekend.  My birthday was also this weekend and mom surprised me with a night away:)  She got me and Audra a room at the Doubletree so I could get some rest!  Audra and I went shopping and to dinner and then to a comfy bed:)

Thanks Mom!!!IMG_6400

Crossing our fingers

Well the babies seem to be on the mend finally!!!

Thursday both babies had tubes put in their ears.  Everything went smoothly.  The doctor gave us a list of things to watch for and of course fever was one of those things.  Friday night my mom came to help out and to give me some rest.  Saturday night she was up all night sick.  My dad ended up coming to get her Sunday because she was too sick to drive home.  I hated it for her.  Today she is finally feeling better and returned to work.  Monday Sawyer woke up with 103 temp so back to the doctor we went.  They have done pretty much everything there is to do so Dr. S believes it must be a virus.  Tuesday we were back to the doc for the babies 9 month check-up and we took Sam so he could get a flu shot.  Sam weighed 29 pounds, Sawyer 22 pounds, and Bax weighed 17 pounds.  I really believe Sawyer will catch up with Sam before we know it.  Today is Thursday and everyone is fever free and feeling better.  I pray things are looking up! This has been the longest month!

Can you say Co-Pay????

Well my poor sick babies just won’t get well.

Earlier this month I took both babies to the Children’s Clinic in Jonesboro because they had cold symptoms and were fussy.  We took 10 days of antibiotics for ear infections and then were back 4 days later still sick.  We took 10 more days of another antibiotic and before we could even finish that I took them back because Sawyer was fussing a lot when he was taking his bottle.  They said his ears were still bad, but Bax looked okay.  They started him on 3 days of shots.  Mrs. Donna and I took them Thursday, she took Sawyer Friday, and I took him Saturday.  Sunday we woke up and Bax had fever.  Jac Jac came and helped me take them back.  Her fever was 103.4.  They said that was high for an ear infection so they ran some tests including a flu test, blood work, and a chest x-ray.  Everything looked okay so they gave her a shot.  Today, we got to see our doctor and she sent us straight over to the ENT.  We are now scheduled to have tubes put in on Thursday.  After we left the ENT we had to go back to the CC and they gave them both shots again.  So yes if you are keeping up that is 5 days in a row of the CC and shots and my babies have been troopers.  Four hours in doctor’s offices today!!!!

On top of all of this, my phone died on me last Friday and they ordered me a new one.  Hopefully it will be in tomorrow!  I am so lost without it.  I am completely exhausted and don’t know what I would do with out my family and friends!

Laura- thanks again for keeping Sam for me- you are the best!

Blake- thanks for letting him come play Sunday!  That’s why you are the FCB!
