The pictures above were the past 2 years and the one below is this year.
E and the combine coming across the back yard.
I know, I know that hat is WAY to small, but it is the one Sam wore his first harvest.

We returned to school last week so I am sure my blogging will slow down! These are some pics of Sam on the first morning of Wee School behind our house. His teacher is Mrs. Dallas and she is so sweet. He did really good and didn’t cry. Wee school is over at noon so I don’t get to pick him up and that makes me sad…I always want to hear about his day. C.C. picks him up and takes him to Ms. Melinda’s and he spends the rest of the day there.
He has been telling me all weekend he wants to go to Wee School.
Mrs. Sandra still comes to the house and stays with the babies, I am sure they have been missing us!
These pics absolutely crack me up…It’s like he is thinking “what are you doing with that camera, I am naked!”
“Don’t get my top either!”
Tuesday night was the Wee School picnic. Sam is going on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Tomorrow is his first day and he seems real excited. I took a picture of us before we left the house, but I wish I had taken my camera. It was a great picnic and so many of Sam’s friends were there. I have my fingers crossed that things go well tomorrow.
Someone told me when I got pregnant with the babies, “poor Sam he won’t be able to be a baby”…and that upset me so. I didn’t want Sam to ever miss out on anything! So, Mrs. Sandra stayed with the babies some this summer and Sam and I would go out for the day together. We went on so many “field trips” and had so much fun together. I am pretty sure he is having a great childhood.
I want to remember…
He loves:
HE IS THE BEST BIG BROTHER!!!
I love him so much and I am so proud of him!
Last weekend I had two showers in Sheridan. A morning baby shower for my friend Alicia and an evening couples wedding shower for my friend Audra. This is us trying to get ready for the morning shower.
And this one I just had to add of my sweet girl napping with her little behind stuck up in the air. This is her favorite position.
Don’t move we aren’t done yet.
Wait, get back here!
I absolutely LOVE watching these two interact. That has to be the best part of having twins, watching them together.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE MY BABIES ARE 6 MONTHS OLD!!!!!
Having twins is such a blessing and I wonder all the time why God blessed me this way, but whatever his reasons, I am very grateful! They are so much fun. Don’t get me wrong it is A LOT of work and I am constantly exhausted. When you have a very active two year old and 6 month old twins, there is NO rest! They are a hand full and I have only left the three of them with my mom and E’s mom and very few times. They are just too much for anyone else. E is in the field and I feel like I am moving constantly.
That said, I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. The babies are at a stage where they will just look at you and smile and laugh and you can tell they love you and it makes everything else SO worth it. I love every second with them.
Both babies are rolling around every where and sitting up for a few seconds. They are playing with toys and even had their first fight over one. Baxley was holding one and Sawyer took it, she turned and looked at me and started screaming. I couldn’t help but laugh. I know I have a lot more of that ahead of me. They can find their pacy and put it in their mouth. They are changing so much right now and I am loving every minute.
