Saturday was a beautiful day so Laura and I decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. They had the best time. Laura is so good to help me with the kids and I appreciate her so much!

Thursday was E’s birthday. Sam told me to get him a tractor cake, so that’s what we did! It just so happened to rain Wednesday night, so the guys couldn’t cut Thursday and we had a nice birthday dinner at Nonna and Pop’s.

Last Friday was Wynne’s Homecoming game. The kids were able to come to school for the pep rally and we even got dad to his first Wynne football game! They are having a great season and we had a lot of fun at the game.
Sam had two birthday parties this weekend. Linz and I had planned to go to Mistletoe Merchants on Saturday so Laura was sweet enough to let Sam go to Rhett’s party with them. On Sunday, Baxley was sick so Nonna stayed with her while I took the boys to Cooper’s party. It was at Village Creek and it was a beautiful day. He had a pirate theme and Sam loved it.
I had staff development today and really couldn’t miss it so my sweet mother drove up last night to stay with Baxley today. Baxley is feeling much better and I know she enjoyed all of the attention. Thanks BB!!!!!!!!

Well I survived a very hectic week! Things will hopefully slow down this week and I can catch up. Tuesday night was Kendall’s Homecoming. She looked beautiful and I was so proud of her!!! What an honor for her to be selected by her classmates.

Kendall attends Cross County and they just so happened to be playing Wynne. Jackson and Whitt, two of Sam’s buddies, play for Wynne so Sam was able to see them. It was such a special night.
Good friends, Great friends are so hard to come by. You know those friends who never leave your side no matter what. The friends that listen to you gripe a million times and are there to cheer you on. The friends who will pick your kids up and who will love them like their own. I am so lucky to have so many GREAT friends. Everyone who loves me has practically helped me get through this crazy hectic week. The weather has been great so E has been cutting non-stop and I have really leaned on my friends to help me out this week. I hope they know how much I appreciate them!

I have been exhausted and I think my Mom could tell, so she invited us down for the weekend so I could rest. It was just what I needed. Mom’s always know!
