B.B. and Papa Visit

Papa's new princess

Do you think I have my hands full?

B.B. brought Valentine's:)

I had to get a pic of this, they have their hands the exact same way.

This is Sam saying "cheese" for his picture.

Brotherly Love

Sam has been bonding with his new brother. Since the babies arrival, Sam has been a little closer to his sissy than his brother. We don't know if it is because he spent time with her first since Sawyer was in the NICU or if he is just a protective big brother:) The other day I picked him up from the babysitter for the first time in a long time and the first thing he said to me was, "Where is Sissy?" So we have been working on he and Sawyer spending some time bonding...I think it has worked!

Good Try

We tried to get a picture the other day and were able to take one before Sawyer spit up everywhere. It is a terrible picture, better luck next time:) We are going Wednesday to get the kids pictures made so hopefully that will go better. Mrs. Janie is back and we are glad! E and I made it pretty good, but we were tired.

Just because I had to post my precious Sam:) We got out Sam's baby pictures today and he and Sawyer look SO much alike.

The Next American Idol

Sam is trying to "pick"-up where his daddy left off with his guitar skills. We may have a second generation of Jack's Palace. Is American Idol educational TV?

Janey Green...The Baby Queen

We have had the best help with the babies. Mrs. Janey kept our nieces Elizabeth and Emmaline when they were born. She helped get us through a very tough time. She works with sets of twins for 2-8 weeks at a time, helping their parents get them on a schedule. She came home with us from the hospital and has been a huge help. We are feeding the babies every three hours. She wakes me up and I come nurse and she gets them changed and back to sleep so I can go back to bed. She is about to head home for a couple of days and it will be interesting to see how E and I make it without her. We feel so blessed to have her and all of her words of wisdom.

Winter Wonderland

Today we spent some time outside playing in the snow with Sam.

Our view outside the back door, it is so beautiful.

E making a snow angel.

The redneck sled...yes it is a garbage can lid...

First Check Up

We took the babies to the Children's Clinic for their first check-up Monday. They decided to close early due to weather so we had to rush up there before they closed. I managed to get one quick picture before we left. Dr. S was pleased with how they were doing. They are almost back to their birth weight and Sawyer is doing good on his heart monitor. She still doesn't want us to have any visitors. With this bad cold season, she said if they became sick they would end up back in the hospital. So we will play it safe and wait.

More Pics

The babies are sleeping in Baxley's bed. They are so sweet I just go in there and watch them sleep.

Sam loves to show off his sissy and brother.

Sam's cousins sent him a little present.

Day 2

These are pictures from the hospital on day 2. Most of them are taken in the suite our room was attached to. We were so lucky to have all of this room! Baxley is the one in all of these pictures because Sawyer was in the NICU.
