I was writing thank you notes this weekend and I guess someone had been watching me lick envelopes, because when I turned around this is what I found. And now he loves to do it all the time!

Sam's 1st Birthday Party

Saturday we had a birthday party for Sam at our house. We got so lucky with the weather and so many of our friends came to celebrate the big day with us. Eric and I are so grateful for our family and friends. Thank you to everyone who made Sam's first birthday party such a special time.

Happy 1st Birthday Baby Sam!

Friday was Sam's first birthday. I can't believe how fast this year has gone!!! I have loved every second of it. He is my whole world and I cherish every day with him. He has always been such a happy baby. We are so lucky!

Friday he got to stay home with my mom and Nana who were in town to help me get ready for the party. They were so excited to get to spend his birthday with him. That night our dear friend Jana and her family came to see him. It was a great day!

Eric's Aunt Laurie made this canvas for me for the party. She is so talented.
