Mrs. Sandra got the babies these sweet baskets with candy and bunny ears.  They have made an appearance several times this week.

Celebrating Easter at School

wee easter

This is a picture of Sam and his buddies at Wee School they celebrated Easter and had an egg hunt.

The pictures below are from Ms. Melinda’s egg hunt.  I borrowed all of these pictures from facebook because I wasn't able to make it.  I have been so busy at work and I am so excited that the weekend has finally arrived!  Sam really didn’t feel good and you can tell in these pictures.

Wednesday Loves

Check out the Wednesday Loves with Jamie.

This week I am loving Sawyer in the mornings!  When I go to get him out of his bed he is so happy and ready to play.

I am loving that General Hospital survived the ABC soap cancellations.  I haven’t missed an episode in probably 8 or 9 years. The girl below…Brenda…was also on 90210!  I always tell E that if I wasn’t a farmers wife, I would be a great mob wife…HA!

It's a soap tradition dating back to Luke and Laura and beyond: soap characters on the run, from the mob or the law or each other. There are few characters who have done it better than General Hospital's Sonny and Brenda. They fled to Puerto Rico in the mid-'90s to escape the mob. Now Sonny is headed Brenda's way as he evades the law. Looks like history repeating! We collected the best soap-stars-on-the-run moments and put them into a handy gallery for you.

I am loving that there are only 6 more Wednesdays until school is out!

I am loving these tips I saw on another blog:

Egg Hunt

IMG_8566

Hilarious!IMG_8569

We attended an annual egg hunt at my friend Stacy’s house.  The kids had a big time, but momma was worn out!  Thank God Laura is such a good friend and helped me out enormously!!!

I have my hands full!

IMG_8482

Every time I leave the room, I come back to…who knows something different every time!!!

IMG_8480

They are climbing on EVERYTHING!  This is them on Sam’s train table.  I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago.

IMG_8485

A couple of weeks ago was Farmer Day at Wee School.  Sam was so excited!  Usually in the mornings Sam wonders into my bathroom while I am getting ready.  That morning I could hear him on the monitor yelling, “someone come put my clothes on” and “I can’t find my boots.”  He couldn’t wait to get there and walked through the door singing Farmer in the Dell.

With all this rain farming is at a stand still so E went to Talladega for the races.  He is getting to spend some time with some buddies from college that he doesn’t get to see very often so I hope they have a good…and safe time!  They had a close encounter with a tornado tonight, but are fine.  We will see how I make it this weekend with all 3 kiddos by myself!

3 Years Old

IMG_8411

I can’t believe Sam is three years old.  He makes me so proud every day.  This is such a fun stage because he can communicate so well and he says the funniest things. He is very social and loves to be around other people.  He has so many great little buddies and loves to play.

If he doesn’t end up being a farmer, a politician may be in his future.  He is so much like his daddy.  He talks to everyone and even knows people in the grocery store that I don’t know.  He puts on a show every time we go to the doctor. I think everyone at the Children’s Clinic knows him.

IMG_8406

He weighs 31 pounds and is a very busy little boy!  He is still in love with tractors and farming.  He has really enjoyed having his daddy home, I am dreading how much he is going to miss him as farm season approaches.

His favorite things to watch right now are: The Toy Story Series, How to Train a Dragon, Super Why, Scooby-Doo, and anything on Nick Jr.

My absolute favorite thing about Sam right now is how good he is with the babies.  He is very loving with them and is always looking out for them.  He lets me know if they are doing something they aren’t supposed to or he will let them know.  He keeps them from putting small things in their mouths and doing things that could hurt them.   He takes up for them telling people, “hey be nice to my brother/sister”.  I hope he always wants to protect them.

IMG_8405

Sam’s quote that I am in love with lately is, “It’s okay momma, it’s okay.”  I am a Type A personality and with THREE young children, well let’s just say I lose my patience occasionally.  I love it when Sam comes up to me when I am getting upset and just pats me and tells me it’s going to be okay.  I immediately calm down and remember what matters, and I assure you whatever I was upset about…doesn’t matter!

Other Sam quotes (I just wish you could hear him say them):

  • That’s a great idea
  • That’s not very nice
  • This is serious
  • My favorite color green
  • My favorite letter S
  • Two minutes, which is how he puts me off
  • That’s dangerous and a new one, that’s disgusting
  • Last time ago
  • Is it summer time yet?

Sam also talks about Jesus a lot, which I love!  The other day E was throwing him up in the air and Sam said, “Daddy don’t throw me up I might go too high and get lost to Jesus.”  LOVE IT!

I love spending time with him!
