Goggles

IMG_8900

We have these goggles that came with a fireman set.  The kids love to play with them.

I walked in and asked Sam what he was doing and he told me giving Sawyer a hair cut.IMG_8906

Baxley likes to wear the goggles backwards.

This week has been super hectic!  E has been working around the clock to finish planting rice.  He has been coming in around two or three in the morning, sleeping a few hours, and heading back out.  I am so proud of how hard he works for our family.

On top of taking care of the kids I have been preparing for a yard sale.  I am so ready to get it behind me!  I have had a few “pre-sales” and have already sold a lot and made some money so I am excited to see how we do Saturday.  My sweet mother is coming in to help me and my sweet mother in law is going to watch the kiddos for me.

I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Jac Jac and Rusty.  They are letting me have the yard sale at their house, since no one really wants to come to the farm:)  I have been taking a load to their house every day this week and they have been so good to me!  I love you guys!

My cousin Bruce is getting married Saturday night and I am excited to see my family.  I hope you guys have a great weekend!

Sam’s friend Chucky

So, Sam has an imaginary friend named Chucky…really…could you come up with a scarier name…no I don’t think so.  He randomly talks about Chucky.  This was a conversation we had driving to school the other day:

Sam: Mommy do you see that rice in that field?

Me: Yes son

Sam: That is Chucky’s rice.

Me: Is Chucky one of your buddies?

Sam: No mommy he is a farmer.

Then tonight I saw him pushing Baxley’s baby around in it’s stroller and I asked him who he was pushing.  His reply: Chucky’s baby.

WEIRD!

Mother’s Day Weekend

IMG_8939

I had the best weekend!  My mom came and spent the weekend with us.  She helped me get ready for a big yard sale that I am having next weekend.  She is the best!  I felt terrible working her on Mother’s Day weekend, but I know we both enjoyed the time together.  Late Saturday afternoon E cooked dinner for us and his parents.  It was so nice outside and we really enjoyed visiting. The kids had a great time playing outside all weekend.IMG_8935

Babysitter Blake

school 034

A couple of weekends ago Blake and Jac Jac babysat for us.  It is so hard to leave all 3 kids with someone, and other than our moms, Blake and Jac Jac are the only people we have left them with.  They spent the afternoon outside and made a trip to the park and Eldridge Court to see the Easter decorations. She sent me these pictures.

15 Months

IMG_8869

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these babies!  And I LOVE that they LOVE each other.IMG_8876

The babies are getting so big and are really showing their personalities!  They are still taking two naps a day and sleeping at night from about 7:30-7:00.  They are great eaters and love milk.  They love to play outside and love playing with Sam.  I catch them holding hands, in their car seats, in their cribs, in their high chairs and all over the place.  It just melts my heart!

Baxley is wearing 12 months clothes and size 4 diapers.  She is so dainty and prances around everywhere.  She hates to have her hands dirty.  She loves to climb and point.  She is starting to try to say a few words other than mama and dada.  I love when she puts her head on my shoulder and just snuggles with me.  When she gives me kisses, she kisses both sides of my cheeks like she is French. As much as I want to say she is a momma’s girl, I would be lying.  She is crazy about her daddy.  She will sit in his lap for hours!  I love seeing them together.IMG_8888

This boy cracks me up!!!  He is so funny and makes the funniest faces.  He cuts his eyes and plays all the time.  He loves to try to run and to wrestle. He wears size 18 months clothes and size 5 diapers.  I have a feeling it won’t be long until he catches up to Sam.  He is still saying Brown Bear all the time and has the book in his hands most of the time.
