Monday was Eric's 28th birthday. It just so happened to rain so the guys could take off for some birthday steaks. We had dinner over at Sam and Donna's and celebrated Eric's birthday.
Friday night Stephanie, Kristin, and I went to Little Rock. We were going for the Race for the Cure on Saturday morning and of course had to take advantage of a girl’s night out. We had dinner and met up with Jamey and her family and then went downtown for a bit. We had a great time. I was so excited to be at the race. It is such an awesome experience and if you have never done it, I strongly suggest you do. We came in at a whopping 58 minutes!!!!! Not quite as good as my 26 minutes two years ago. That's okay Audra represented with a time of 25:15! She did awesome and I am so proud of her. She is now ahead with 2 medals compared to my 1. I will have to start training now to beat her next year. Maybe we can run it together.
Yes that is me in the middle with no make-up...lovely
Laura and I took the boys to the pumpkin patch today. The weather was great and the boys loved it. We tried to get their picture together, but it never worked out. Sam loved the hay and loved putting it in his mouth. We will have to go back next year when they are bigger for the hay ride.
Saturday we went to Sol's first birthday party. There were so many little ones there and it was so fun watching them play together. The balls were a great idea. Thanks for the invite Becca:)
I have been married to E for eight years. We have three amazing children, Sam and twins Sawyer and Baxley. E farms and we live in a small farming community. I drive 25 miles to work where I teach 110 8th graders a day. I love my job, my wonderful friends and family, anything sweet, The Limited, Sonic drinks, summer and being near the water, Christmas, General Hospital, and anything with my babies. This blog is a scrabook of my life and a way for our families to keep up with our growing babies.
